Brit daredevil free climbs one of the tallest power stations in Europe - and even does CHIN-UPS on the side

This heart-stopping video shows the moment a teenage daredevil stopped to do some chin-ups - dangling from the top of one of the tallest power stations in Europe. At 340 metres (1115 feet) tall, the Plomin power station in Croatia is the fourth-tallest power station in Europe. But the daunting scale of the massive chimney did not faze 19-year-old Adam Lockwood - who clambered up the side of the giant power plant in just two and a half hours. And in exhilirating footage, Adam even dared to do some pull-ups, hanging off the edge of the building at the very top - seemingly without a fear in the world.Adam, from Manchester, who climbed the Plomin power station with a friend from Croatia, said: "Stuff like that just doesn't give me any kind of adrenaline rush."There's just something about being suspended that high up by my fingertips that just tickles me.

I just do it for me - because I can."I did have to wait for about six hours before I felt able to do the chin-ups, though - because my arms were really tired from the climb."Adam and his friend scaled the active power station on Monday - and had to stay up there for almost 24 hours to avoid being caught by workers on the site.He said: "We started the climb at about 2am, so that we could make sure we didn't run in to any workers."And then we couldn't climb down during the day, because they'd have seen us."We ended up staying up there for about 21 hours."It's quite hot at the top because the power station is active, so the chimney is on during the day, so there's steam coming out."But it was a really good feeling to know I've done that."It was definitely one of the most memorable things I've ever done."
