A Durga Puja pandal in a club in Berhampore in West Bengal's Murshidabad has given a clever political spin to its idol this year, or to be precise to the Mahishasur.

The Demon King whom Goddess Durga slays has been turned into Chinese President Xi Jinping to express solidarity with the Indian jawans who died in a border skirmish in June this year while thwarting Chinese incursion into Indian territory.
