Police: Fort Wayne Man tries to attack woman on Ridgewood Drive

Eric Smallwood was arrested after he tried to attack someone with a weapon on Tuesday.

A man is in custody after a domestic battery on ridge wood drive tonight.

Police received a call from a family member that a female was being attacked by the suspect and he was armed with a knife.

Officers say they tried to get the suspect eric smallwood to come out the residence, but they had to get a search warrant to go in and get him.
