Fire department workers rescued a deer from an agricultural well with the help of the villagers in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
The rescue operation was carried out in Sankarankovil of Tenkasi district on the afternoon October 8.
Video of the rescue shows the firefighter being lowered down in the well with the help of thick ropes.
On reaching the floor of the well, he ties the rope around the deer that other members use to pull it out of the well.
According to the reports, the deer had fallen into the well and the villagers alerted the fire department officials on noticing it.
They immediately rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation to rescue the deer from the well.
The deer was later handed over to the forest department official by the firefighters.
