'Back to Village-3' begins in far-flung areas of Rajouri

Jammu and Kashmir Government's outreach program 'Back to Village' phase 3 began in far-flung areas of Rajouri.

Along with village sarpanchs, senior officials are meeting villagers to explain government schemes.

Authorities are also paying attention to their grievances.

"'Back to Village-3' programme is being conducted door-to-door in far-flung areas for the backward and the poor," said Shahida Kouser, Village Sarpanch, Dhangri.

JandK administration has started the program on Oct 2, while marking birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

'Back to Village' program aims at reinvigorating village Panchayats and helping with development in the rural areas of the state via local participation.
