A man rescued a 12-foot-long python from a drainage pipe in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand.

The rescue operation took place in Dehradun on the night of October 5.

A man rescued a 12-foot-long python from a drainage pipe in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand.

The rescue operation took place in Dehradun on the night of October 5.

The video shows the rescue team leader Ravi Joshi using a snake catcher to extricate the snake from the drain.

On watching the snake trying to escape, he decides to jump into the drain and catches hold of the snake with bare hands.

According to the reports, the snake catcher received a call from the emergency services to rescue the snake.

He immediately rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation.

The python will be released into the wild today.
