A transmission tower was damaged in a blast carried out for developmental works in central India on September 4.

A video shot by the crew, which was engaged to carry out the explosion near Dundi station in Madhya Pradesh, shows debris flying out unexpectedly and damaging the transmission tower carrying overhead electric lines.

West Central Railway (WCR) chief PRO Priyanka Dixit commented: "No injuries took place as all precautions were being taken.

We will ensure that more precautions are taken in future,"
