Habitat for Humanity, Wells Fargo partner to help build affordable housing

The Wells Fargo Foundation awarded a $15,000 grant to Houston County Habitat for Humanity to build an affordable home in Warner Robins.

Houston houston county habitat for humanity and wells fargo are partnering to provide more affordable housing.

The wells fargo foundation awarded habitat a 15 thousand dollar grant to help build an affordable home in warner robins.

According to a news release, the funding is part of an 8 point 1 million dollar donation to habitat for humanity international to build, renovate and repair more than 350 affordable homes nationwide.

Resource development director cheryl glover says the grant will allow more resources for construction.

This grant is going to help buy building materials, that's what it does.

Everything we do is based on donations.

We are not government funded, c1 3 b13 so we have to depend on the community to support our mission.
