Two cobras scooped out of 60-foot-deep well by snake rescuer in India

A couple of cobras were scooped out of a 60-foot-deep well by an animal rescuer near western India's Ahmednagar.

Footage filmed on September 10 shows Nawaz, the animal rescuer, being lowered down into the well and attempting to lure the cobras into a net.

Nawaz only managed to rescue the female cobra as the male one had taken refuge in a small crack between some stones.

Animal Rescue Society employee Akash Jadhav said: "It was a difficult rescue.

Nawaz could not make the other snake come out of its hiding place.

The snake had to be rescued later."
