Workers from the entertainment industry gathered in Madrid, Spain on Thursday (September 17) to demand aid from the government amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Workers from the entertainment industry gathered in Madrid, Spain on Thursday (September 17) to demand aid from the government amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Hundreds of workers, from 23 cities across Spain, travelled to the capital and took part in a march that started at the Royal Palace and ended in Puerta del Sol.

The protesters used flycases to symbolise coffins and the dying state of the entertainment industry due to the pandemic.

They called on the Ministries of Labour, Culture and Economy to take urgent measures to guarantee the survival of the sector.
