India's average COVID-19 positivity rate is 8.4%: Health Ministry

Union Health Ministry Secretary, Rajesh Bhushan held a press conference in Delhi to brief the media over the current situation of COVID-19 in the nation.

He said that the country's average positivity rate is 8.4%.

"There are 14 states and UTs in India where the total number of active cases are less than 5000.

There are 18 states and UTs where total active cases are between 5000-50,000," he added.
