Watch: POCSO accused flees from police custody in UP's Lakhimpur Kheri

An accused escaped from police custody while vehicle in which he was being taken to police station was being refuelled.

The accused was sent to police custody after being booked under POCSO Act.

The whole incident was captured in CCTV.

"Police force from three police stations has been deployed and combing is being done.

I believe, we will catch him soon.

Probe will be done, as far as the negligence of police is concerned.

Strict action will be taken against the guilty," Arun Kumar Singh, ASP, Lakhimpur Kheri told to reporters.
