Smugglers chop 150 sandalwood trees of farmer in Shivamogga

Smugglers cut down 150 sandalwood trees belonging to a farmer and decamped with logs from a village in Shivamogga district.

Lokeshwara, farmer belongs to Chief Minister's hometown Shikaripura.

He owns nearly 20 acres of land and cultivated six thousand Sandalwood trees at Suttukote village in Shivamogga.
