Downtown business expands to Lake Contrary

The owner of Eclipz Gourmet Popcorn and Ice Cream has expanded his business to the lake area.

If you haven't been down to lake contrary in a while you may want to plan a visit, that's because one local business owner's unlikely expansion to the area is breathing new life into the lakefront.

We stopped by this afternoon to check out what he's been up to.

If that name looks a little familiar, it's because you might have seen it somewhere else nearby sotdillion cox has an interesting story about how he came up with the idea to branch out from curbside to lakeside.

Sot he says he then got the idea to start selling ice cream on the lake, marrying the two ideas to create something new.

Sot though he's only been at this for two weeks on the lake, his business is booming, visitors say they love the idea of having something like this closer to home.

Sot sot>> the eclipz lake branch is open wednesdays through sundays from 11 to sunset, though they will also be open this coming monday for the holiday.
