ITBP troops walk 25 kms in 8 hours to handover local’s body to his family
A team of ITBP troops carried the body of a pony operator for 8 hours in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh area.
They walked for 25 kms before handing it over to his family.
The trek was undertaken on Aug 30 after the body was lying in Syuni village near Bugdayar of Pithoragarh district.
A team of eight personnel started the trek at 11:30 AM from the village and reached Munsyari village at 7:30 PM on the same day.
They traversed the narrow mountain bends witnessing heavy rains & landslides.
