Why Sushil Modi believes polls in pandemic are safe | Bihar assembly elections
In the latest episode of On The Record, Hindustan Times’ Sunetra Choudhury speaks to Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi over assembly elections in the state amid pandemic.
Modi spoke on how it is possible to conduct exams amid the pandemic.
"Now there is no panic in Bihar.
Now Bihar is also number 1 in testing (testing more than 1 lakh patients a day).
So now people are also used to tackling COVID and the kind of scare that was there before is no longer there," Modi said.
Modi added how 70% campaigning during the elections will be done physically.
