Evidence in the breonna taylor case...but he says it's not enough to make a decision right away about whether or not to convict the officers involved in her death.

Cameron says the f-b-i has sent him a long-awaited ballistics report.

Experts have said that report is likely one of the main pieces of evidence that'll help cameron decide whether to prosecute the three officers that had a part in the shooting.

Cameron appeared today on c-b-s' "face the nation"...where host margaret brennan asked him why the investigation has taken five months.

Cameron says the new report isn't the "end all be all"...there's more analysis needed and his team is still interviewing witnesses...but he says people should be confident in the investigation.

Ag daniel cameron: we are looking under every stone, leaving no stone unturned as it relates to this investigation.

Again, a thorough and fair investigation is what is deserved by all those involved.

Cameron says we shouldn't expect an announcement this week about the investigation.

Taylor was killed march 13 in her home by police serving a drug warrant.
