Five people hospitalized after accident in Floyd

Five people were rushed to the hospital at 6:15am Sunday morning, August 30th, after a one vehicle accident in Floyd on River Road.

Floyd fire officials say the grey minivan hit a tree.

They say it took a while for the five individuals to be extricated from the vehicle.

A total of five adults were then transported to local hospitals.

State police and oneida county sheriff's deputies were onhand.

No word yet on any of the patient's conditions.
