Homicide detectives with the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested 40-year-old Thomas J.

Jackson on a murder charge in connection to the shooting death of Angel M.

Carter on Sunday, Aug.

9 at the Rodeway Inn.

Police arrest a man accused of killing a woman outside of a fort wayne motel.40-year-old "thomas jackson" is charged with murder in the death of 19- year-old "angel carter" outside the rodeway inn on august ninth.court documents say surveillance video shows a man they believe to be jackson knocking on carter's door and pointing a gun as he waited for it to open.when no one answers detectives say he took a key from the front desk and entered the room.

Moments later they exit the room when she falls to the ground with him standing near her with a gun.
