Kern County Public Health announces 5 more COVID-19 related deaths
Recently local cases have been reported under 100 but Thursday a big jump.
Public health adding nearly 250 new cases to the dashboard bringing the total to more than 28,860.
Nearly 11,000 residents have recovered.
