New York thunderstorm ransacks city, subway goers

A cold front system brought strong thunderstorms to the East Coast of the U.S. on Tuesday, August 25.

The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm watches for New York City and surrounding areas.

Especially the coastal area, including Brooklyn and Queens are under a hazardous weather outlook for gust wind and high rip current risk.
