Indian craftsman makes minuscule Ganesha idols out of eco-friendly salt

An artist in south-east India showed off his amazing craftsmanship by carving miniature idols of the Hindu god Ganesha.

Satyanarayan Moharana made the 1cm, 5mm and 3mm-tall sculptures from alum at his workshop in Berhampur, Odisha, as seen in this clip.

While Moharana normally works in stone, he chose to work in alum for these objects to reduce waste pollution, as the material dissolves in water.
