Online education affected due to 'lack of smartphones', 'network issues' in Panchkula

In the wake of coronavirus pandemic all the schools have been instructed by the state governments to switch to online education.

'Lack of smartphones,' 'recharge' and 'network issue' has created hurdles in the path of online education.

Some of the students have to walk around 2 kilometres to their neighbours for their friend's house who possesses smartphone for completing their studies.

While talking to ANI Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Koti, Pawan Jain said, "Some of the students are facing problem due to unavailability of network for smartphones.

Every parent have not smartphones so there children have to walk around 2 kilometres to access smartphones to there relatives or friends two buses smartphones.

10-15 per cent students from our school do not have a smart phone in the family.

They can't afford them.

Network and recharge are major issue for them."
