Two-storey building collapses after heavy rainfall in northeast India

A two-storey building collapsed in Saran, northeast India on Monday (August 11) after heavy rainfall hit the area.

Footage shows the building collapsing onto a flooded road.

The building, which housed a Pragathi Dresses, a textile shop run by a local businessman Bindeshwari Singh Kushwaha, was empty at the time of the collapse after it had been evacuated due to flooding.
