MTA Token Transit app increases safety and efficiency

The Macon Transit Authority wants everyone to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The macon-bibb transit authority wants everyone to stay safe during the covid-19 pandemic.

And one way to keep everyone safe..

Is by reducing touchpoints.

That's why mta is urging riders to download the token transit app.

Riders can then use their smart devices instead of purchasing tickets on-board... or at a station.

Riders can then use that device in place of a regular ticket.

Mta says... the app will help reduce the spread of covid-19 and also speed up the boarding process.

"think about the practicality and efficiency of that so that works well as far as i'm concerned for everybody.

On our end, practicality in terms of not tying up our personnel and c1 3 b13 also for the consumer, the rider, who just does it all beforehand."
