Roger Goodell Outlines Plans for 2020 NFL Season NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has sent out a letter to fans addressing the league’s plans for the 2020 season.

The NFL, which has opted out of creating a bubble environment like the NBA, is scheduled to begin September 10.

In his letter, Goodell began by commenting on how COVID-19 has “turned the world upside down,” saying that “football is no exception.” Roger Goodell, via ESPN He also talked about the “rigorous health and safety protocols” that would be undertaken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 “when” someone tests positive.
