Every Monday on WXXV we feature a child from Mississippi hoping to get adopted.

Fourteen-year-old Sara has been in foster care for about three years.

- - hi my name is sara.

I am 14 and- i am in the - 8th grade i have 3 older- brothers and i am the only girl- i love to sing and dance.

I - am the sing in the shower kind- of person.

But i am also in - - - - show choir so i have to face my- fears and get up in front of- people and sing.- - - - 00:28:00- i love photography because my - mom she always like took- pictures whenever we- were like young and i was alway- outside in like nature like the- woods and so things - always caught my eye.

Trees, if- they were like deformed kind of- that would- - - - catch my eye and i kind of- liked how it looked, cause it - was like kind of abstract.- 00:55:00- in my free time i like to like- make rubber band bracelets, do- my make-up.

If i had to - have a mentor it would be laura- lee, a beauty influencer.

I'm - - - - not sure if i'd have my own you- tube channel one day but i woul- probably try it out.

I would be- more- of an instagram influencer.

What a family means to - me about being like - - - - loving and caring and like safe- in an environment not having to- move or like- stay somewhere.

I like where- i'm at now, it's just i want to- be somewhere where i- - - - can be there for the rest of my- life.
