Assam floods: Over 24 lakh hit, CM Sonowal inspects embankment damaged by rain

Assam has been reeling under heavy flood.

At least 100 deaths have been reported across the state.

Flood has affected 24 districts and over 24 lakh people.

Incessant rainfall has led to rise in water level in Brahmaputra.

Over 12 NDRF teams have been conducting rescue work.

Assam government has set up 276 relief camps and 192 relief distribution centres.
