Assam Floods: 66 animals died after Kaziranga National Park submerges in water

Due to floods, 80% of Kaziranga National Park is submerged in water.

So far 66 animals have died in the floods and 170 have been rescued.

Kaziranga National Park, Director P Sivakumar said, "So far, 3 tigers were stride out from the main national park, 2 have been brought back to the safest area.

Rescue operation is underway.

We hope that in the next 10 days, park will be free from flood."
