COVID-19: Strict checking in Bengaluru amid lockdown

The complete lockdown was imposed in Bengaluru from July 14 to slow down the spread of coronavirus.

Streets were deserted and shops remain closed.

Total shutdown will be in place for a week.

Police personnel are monitoring movement of vehicles.

The lockdown was imposed after tally of actives cases jumped in Bengaluru.

City has over 15,000 active cases of coronavirus.
