Dublin's DJ Wright signs with Brewton Parker College

Dublin senior guard DJ Wright signed a letter of intent to hoop for Brewton College.

Dublin's dj wright is officially heading to the next level to play college basketball ... dj signed his letter of intent with brewton parker at dublin last friday ... he played point guard for the fighting irish ... he also played football which means he's coming off a state championship and knows how to win at the highest level ... more importantly he takes care of business in the classroom, finishing with a 3.3 g-p-a dj's a natural leader at the point guard position ... and a certified floor general ... one of his strengths is attacking the basket ... he finishes very well at the cup ... he's also an excellent passer and understands how to put players in a position to be successful ... dj averaged 8 points and 5 dimes last season ...and played a key role in leading the fighting irish to the 2nd round of the state playoffs ... dj wright on line 8 ... :01-:06 man, basketball is something that i wanted to do since i was a little kid.

And at first, when i was getting the offers from football, that's what i was going to drive with because during basketball season i wasn't getting no offers.

Wasn't no coaches looking at me.

But, basketball was still on my heart.

It was still something i wanted to do.

And i always told myself that if i get a basketball offer, i'm going to take that over all these football offers.

And as soon as i got that basketball offer, i took it.

Now dj's never been named all-region or all-state, but he says he uses that as motivation ... :01-:06 i got this little motto that i say.

I gotta turn my grind up to another level.

They're going to regret not giving me all region or all state.
