Ghaziabad factory blast: Ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each announced to kin of deceased

Briefing about the Ghaziabad candle factory blast District Magistrate stated that ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to kin of deceased has been announced.

"A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the matter.

An ex gratia of Rs 4 lakhs each will be provided to the kin of the deceased.

Free treatment and Rs 50,000 each as financial aid will be provided to injured," said DM Ajay Shankar Pandey.

At least 7 people died while 4 were injured in an explosion at a factory in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on July 05.

The incident happened in candle factory at Modinagar.
