Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has issued an executive order that aims to prevent discrimination in the workplace when it comes to matters of employment, services, and contracting in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Governor andy beshear has signed an executive order to ensure that all kentuckians are treated fairly when it comes to employment.

The order builds on previous protections by adding provisions to clearly cover gender expression, pregnancy and marital or family status.

The governor says this order is to be sure that citizens throughout the bluegrass state feel comfortable with who they are and have no fear when going to work or looking for work.
