Tehama county sheriff's investigators say say the gunman targeted former coworkers... killing one, and wounding four others.

They say the shooter... louis wesley lane... was fired from his job at the center last year.

Investigators say lane crashed his suv into the lobby of the office...then opening fire with semi automatic rifle.

The sheriff's office says lane was killed in an exchange of gunfire with red bluff police officers, but not before he shot and killed walmart employee martin haro-lozano... and injured six others.

Walmart released a statement saying the facility will remain closed until further notice.## new overnight...
