Flood situation worsens in parts of Assam

Heavy and incessant rains resulted in flood like situation in many districts of Assam.

Incessant downpour across northeast region including Assam caused most of the rivers in flowing above danger levels in many places.

Locals of villages near Guijan area in Tinsukia have moved to safer places due to flood in their villages.

Villages of Kalakhowa area in Dibrugarh district have also been flooded following heavy rainfall in the state; normal life disrupted.
