California has seen a jump in new novel coronavirus COVID-19 cases, and Gov.

Gavin Newsom is cracking down.

According to Business Insider, Gov.

Newsom ordered bars and nightlife spots to close in seven of the state's counties, including Los Angeles.

Newsom acted after California saw a rise in new coronavirus cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.

COVID-19 is still circulating in California, and in some parts of the state, growing stronger.

That's why it is critical we take this step to limit the spread of the virus in the counties that are seeing the biggest increases.
