Wild boar attacks motorcycle after being stopped from seeing his 'girlfriend' pet pig

A furious wild boar took out his anger on a motorcycle after he was stopped from getting into a house to see his girlfriend pig.

The dirty hog wandered out a nearby Buddhist temple and sniffed out the teacup gilt in a yard in Chonburi, eastern Thailand on Tuesday morning (June 23).

However, the owners of their pet house pig had already locked the gate while they were out for the day - sparking fury from the creature when it could not get inside.

Neighbours contacted the rescue team when the boar became aggressive and started attacking a motorcycle in the street.

The adult miniature pig was sprawled out on the patio on the other side of the gate.

Animal handlers tried to calm down the boar before and he was ushered away into a nearby patch of grass to wait under a mango tree.

Locals told the rescuer that the wild boar had been adopted by a nearby temple but he still likes to roam freely around in the neighbourhood.

Resident Chawat Kunsri said: "The boar was left at the temple by someone and the monks have adopted it.

"He usually wanders around in the neighbourhood but I have never seen him this aggressive.'' Chawat added that the boar would visit his ''girlfriend'' pug every day but today he could not go into the house because the owner was not at home.

He said: "He came to that house to play with his girlfriend as usual but the house owner was not around to let him in, so the boar became furious as he might thought that he was prevented from seeing his girlfriend."
