COVID-19: MP govt to reduce electricity bill of residents

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on June 22 interacted with electricity consumers of the state via video conferencing.

He informed that MP government will pay some amount of the electricity bills of the residents of the state.

CM Chouhan said that residents of the state, who got Rs.

100 electricity bill in April month, will have to pay Rs.

50 for the month of May, June and July respectively.

Likewise, people who got Rs.

100-400 electricity bill, will have to pay Rs.

100 and who got electricity bill over Rs.

400 will have to pay half of the amount.
