'Need to boost exports as investors shift focus from China to India': Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the world now is not much interested to deal with China.

He called it a blessing in disguise for the Indian economy.

Gadkari was addresing a webinar on India's electric vehicle roadmap post Covid.

Recently, the clamour to boycott China-made products grew in India with people holding anti-China protests in parts of the country.

Gadkari's remarks come in the wake of border clashes between the two Asian neighbours in Ladakh.

20 Indian Army personnel were martyred in a violent faceoff with China on June 15 night.
