Dallas Fed Chief: Systemic Racism Is Hindering US Economic Growth

In the United States, the fastest-growing demographic groups are African Americans and Latinx.

And according to Dallas Federal Reserve President Robert Kaplan, systemic racism targetting those groups is dragging down the US economy.

Reuters reports Kaplan made the remarks in a Sunday interview on CBS's 'Face the Nation.'

He said blacks and Hispanics have long endured a higher level of unemployment than whites.
