Of 615 American Billionaires, Only 6 Of Them Are Black

According to Business Insider, there are 615 billionaires in America.

But Forbes' Billionaires List shows that only 6 of them are Black.

The lack of diversity spotlights the huge wealth gap between Black and White people in the U.S. In 2016, the median for a White family was $152,000 dollars more than its Black counterpart.

Famous names like Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Michael Jordan are among the Black billionaires listed.
