Kanye West Establishes College Fund for George Floyd’s Daughter Floyd, a 46-year-old black man killed by a white police officer on May 25, had a 6-year-old daughter, Gianna.

A representative for West revealed to CNN that the 42-year-old rapper has stepped in to help George Floyd’s family.

West has established a 529 education plan for Gianna, which will fully cover her future college tuition.

West also reportedly donated $2 million to the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd.

Arbery, a black man, was fatally chased down and shot by three white men on Feb.

23 in Brunswick, Georgia.

Taylor was killed in March by three police officers who entered her home by force and shot her at least eight times.

According to TMZ, West has made a separate donation to cover the legal fees for the families of both Arbery and Taylor.

Convictions have yet to be made in the Arbery case and no arrests have been made for the killing of Taylor, although the FBI has opened an investigation.
