Daniel boone national ... happening today: the daniel boone national forest is opening a few more recreation sites.

That includes: picnic areas, shooting ranges and the white sulphur off- highway vehicle trail system.

On june 11-th, developed campgrounds on the forest will reopen.

Those with existing campground reservations will be notified of any changes -- according to the park service.

Although 'not' accepting in-person visits, offices remain open and operational.
