The incident is from Ghatkopar area of the city preparing for impact on June 2.

In visuals, drainage water can be seen pouring in from a steep area and descending down the sloped street.

The stream can be seen sweeping two-wheelers along with it, while it cascades down between several houses.

As the coast braces itself to face the cyclone, Maharashtra and Gujarat, that fall on its path near the Arabian Sea, have been put on high alert.

The cyclone hit Alibaug near Mumbai at 1 p.m.

Alibaug reported a wind speed of 93 kilometres per hour (57 miles per hour) at the time.
