Enormous python scares family after appearing in their living room

A enormous python frightened residents when it slithered into their living room in central Thailand.

The giant reptile appeared from a under a wardrobe while the family, including two children, were relaxing at home in Bangkok on May 26.

Footage shows the terrifying size of the beast as snake wranglers drag it outside of the home in the Bang Kapi district of the city.

The 13ft long python is believed to swallowed a rat before it settled down in the cooler spot inside the home to digest its dinner.

The reptile specialist who grabbed the serpent said this was the heaviest python they have ever caught.

He said: "I've never seen a python as fat at this one before.'' No one was injured by the wild animal.

All the residents were relieved when the team sealed the snake in the sack for it to be released back into the deep woods.
