Indore Police provide ration to jobless man turned into thief amid COVID-19 lockdown

A jobless man turned into thief amid coronavirus pandemic in Madhya Pradesh's Indore.

He claimed there is no ration in his house due to the lockdown.

While speaking to ANI, the Sub Inspector of Aerodrome Police Station, Kalpana Chauhan said, "A person was arrested after he broke into a house in Vishu Vihar Colony.

When he was asked the reason behind the theft, he said he is jobless due to lockdown and there is no ration in his house." "While examining his claim, it was found that he was telling the truth so police provided ration to his family," she added.
