'We'll die of hunger': Nashik farmers unable to sell onions at fair prices

'In this situation, we'll die of hunger', said the farmer, who is facing huge loss as he hasn't got the fair price for his onion crop.

"We're getting less than half of the price at which we used to sell.

Our earnings are not even supporting expenses of fuel to carry them to market," the farmer further said.

India is an Agriculture dominated country, however farmers and customers are facing imbalance in demand and supply of crops amid the coronavirus lockdown.
