District councillors pepper sprayed in Hong Kong crackdown

A group of district councillors was pepper sprayed by riot police today (May 24th) as they placed themselves between police and protesters in Caseway Bay in Hong Kong.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets to protest against the planned adoption of a national security law by China in Hong Kong.
