COVID-19: Meat, fish market closed ahead of Eid in Bengaluru

Bengaluru markets wore a deserted look ahead of Eid festival on May 24.

A state-wide total lockdown has been imposed in Karnataka to contain the spread of COVID-19 outbreak.

Shivajinagar meat market in Bengaluru is closed.

Shops have been barred from selling essential supplies.

Everything will remain shut till 07:00 am on May 25.

There are 1959 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Karnataka.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases are 73,560 and 3867 deaths in India.
