Dehradun airport all set to welcome passengers for domestic air travel from May 25

The preparations are underway for operation of flights in Uttarakhand's Dehradun amid coronavirus lockdown 4.0.

Jolly Grant Airport is all set for resumption of domestic air travel from May 25.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to airport operators for recommencement of domestic flights from May 25 onwards.

Facilities including-sensor operated sanitiser dispensers, boarding pass verification have been arranged for the passengers.

The airport is also getting sanitised to keep in mind the hygiene factor amid COVID-19 outbreak.

While speaking to ANI, the Director of Jolly Grant Airport, DK Gautam said, "Arrangements like sensor-operated sanitizer dispensers and social distancing markers already in place.

We will give a safe and comfortable experience to passengers." The government of India imposed a nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus two months back.
